Law Advocacy is an annual competition that allows students to experience and partake firsthand the trials and tribulations of a court session. Participants would be exposed to a tort or criminal law scenario, where they would act as either the Prosecution or the Defence to match wits in a battle of words. The Mock trials and realistic court scenarios re-enacted in this competition will serve to greatly enhance your learning experience. Furthermore, your participation in this event will give you a leg-up over your peers with regards to your Résumé.
Lawyers from prestigious law firms will be invited to adjudicate the proceedings of the finals, where perhaps in time to come; their impression on your performance might help you on your way towards legal superstardom in the future. Furthermore, if you are victorious in this competition, your legacy would forever be etched in the TP Law & Management Law Advocacy Plaque and more. Everyone is encouraged to participate in this exciting prospect, where every participant would be awarded a certificate and the opportunity to apply what they have learnt from the classroom.
The deadline for the submission of registration forms would be on the Wednesday 28rd October 2009, 6pm instead of the date announced earlier. 1. EFS (Electronic Filing System)
2. Family and matrimonial proceedings
3. Observing Interviews
4. Interviewing Applicants
I strongly encourage students to sign up for one or more sessions. Check out the attached link for more information."""""
